Tara has over thirty years of experience implementing innovative approaches in the developmental disability (DD) sector; supporting people to live the lives they choose. She’s an inspirational leader whose focus is to support and develop other leaders in the field. Tara has extensive experience working in both local and state government and as a provider of services. These experiences, in addition to working in a council of governments has given her a comprehensive view of perspectives and unique insight into the challenges these partners face in providing effective services to people with disabilities. Adept at managing transition, Tara leverages her ten years of experience implementing The Baldrige Excellence Framework and the Criteria for Performance Excellence in Business/Non-Profit and Health Care sectors to establish a framework for organizational improvement.
