Since 2018, the state of Ohio has gone through major changes in healthcare with the implementation of behavioral health redesign and the carve-in of behavioral health services to managed care. The program was designed to increase access to client care for those seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as improve accuracy in billing. We are expecting more changes in the coming year, with a new request for proposals coming out for managed care in Ohio.
